Hi, I’m Charmaign. I’m a Professional Certified Coach and a Certified Career Transition Coach who loves helping people find a job or follow a career that makes them smile, connects to their heart, something they enjoy doing day after day. I partner with clients to help them break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in their career. Life's too precious to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. I believe in providing an oasis to pause, to reflect, to tune in to your own greatness, so that you can regroup for your next leap forward. I love people. I want to know what makes you tick. Authentic human connection, storytelling, listening and providing deep insight are the sources of joy in my life. My key role as a coach is to partner with you for positive transformational change. It is a dynamic process that involves the interaction between your environment and who you are. I provide a structure, a safe space, and support for you to achieve your desired outcomes. Designing with you a process to best meet your needs keeps you in a fully capable position of directing your efforts and owning the results of your work. It is my responsibility to listen well, ask questions, create awareness, challenge, reveal, and hold attention to the change you want. This partnership can build on strengths and address liabilities. It can also make entirely new discoveries. It is always my intention to bring out the best in you and celebrate your wins. A successful engagement is characterized by a good “fit” between us that creates trust so can you make experience positive and transformational changes that achieve your desired outcomes.
I believe that seeking to uncover and align with our authentic selves is vital to finding and being in a job or career that is a true fit. How your journey shapes your career​

I would like to begin my sharing with you my story of how your journey can shape your career, and why I am moved to help people find their bliss, their sweet spot, and become empowered professionally.

When I was 17 years old, I was in a terrible car accident, where I suffered a traumatic brain injury, which at the time, I did not know would turn my world upside down in a completely unexpected direction. I was a regular girl planning on going to college with the desire to major in Theatre Arts and become an actress. To my surprise, starting college was also the beginning of my unique journey through the trials and tribulations of life.

The first ten years after my car accident was a grueling healing process. Here I developed perseverance, determination, and blind faith. Through these incredibly challenging times, my life purpose began to reveal itself. Still trying to climb the corporate ladder to prove that the aftermath of the car accident would not beat me, I worked as a recruiter in higher education for 15 years. Apparently going to Hollywood to become an actress was not in my deck of cards. At this mark, my career transition began to unfold. Through reaching out and connecting with others, I discovered the field of career development and coaching. I found where my passion lies, and where I can utilize my true talents and strengths.
For the past several years, I have found success and results while working with a diverse population who were at the point of making a career transition either by choice or unexpected circumstances. I also continued to work in higher education where I have helped students find their career direction. I will humbly say that I have been successful over the years and have watched people transform personally and professionally; discovery how amazing they are. There are no words to describe the fulfillment and gratitude I have felt witnessing victory after victory when people did not think it was possible. The simple act on my part is believing in them, and supporting them unconditionally.
As a Career Transition Coach, I bring not only my professionalism but my journey, empathy, compassion, intuition, and relatability to clients. I speak from the heart. Today I share my truth. I look forward to sharing this journey together.
I hold a Professional Coach Certification (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a Career Transition Coach Certification (CCTC) from Career Thought Leaders, in addition to a Master of Arts in Intercultural Relations from the SIT (School for International Training) Graduate Institute.
